Two, licensed, Tourism approved self-catering
villas providing stunning views and enjoying one of the sunniest
locations on the island of Madeira. The villas were designed to
provide a comfortable base to walkers exploring the outstanding
natural beauty in the largely undeveloped west of the island.
Ornithologists may be surprised to find their neighbours on
the cliffs are a colony of Cory's Shearwaters.
A comprehensive list of breeding birds on Madeira may be obtained
from the owners.

Casa Palmeira |

Casa Palmeira has a large private terrace
with patio table, chairs and sun beds. At an altitude of
just under 300ft. above sea level guests can relax and take
meals outside throughout the year. The bedroom has a king
size bed and is well furnished with hand-built fitted
wardrobes. |

Patio doors to the terrace allow visitors to both
see and hear the sea when they open the shutters in the morning.
Open plan sitting/dining room/kitchen the later
equipped with oven, hob, refrigerator and microwave. There is
generous cupboard space under granite worktops with kitchen
utensils, electric kettle, coffee maker etc. all provided.

The sitting room has views to sea and cliffs
through patio doors leading to private terrace.
There is a colour television with cable channels
received together with a selection of tourist information, books and
games. Next to the kitchen area is a small utility room which has a
washing machine, iron and clothes drying frame.
The bathroom has a W.C, bidet, hand basin and
bath with over bath shower. Hot water to bathroom and kitchen is
supplied from a gas water heater situated outside the villa and all
towels and linen are provided.

Casa Nolina |
|
Casa Nolina has a large private terrace
with patio table, chairs and sunbeds from which the views are to sea
and cliffs as with Casa Palmeira, guests are able to use the terrace
to relax and take meals outside throughout the year.
The bedroom has two single beds and is well
furnished with hand-made fitted wardrobes.

Patio doors to the terrace give sight and sound
of the ocean whilst sitting in bed.
Spacious, open plan sitting/dining room/kitchen
with the kitchen well equipped with oven, hob, extractor,
refrigerator and microwave. There is ample cupboard space under
granite worktops and all kitchen utensils, electric kettle, coffee
maker etc. are supplied.

Again, views of sea and cliffs through the patio doors leading to
the terrace from the sitting room, which is comfortably furnished
with cable TV and a selection of tourist information, books and
games. Next to the kitchen area is a small utility room with washing
machine, iron and clothes drying frame.
The bathroom has a WC, bidet, hand basin and bath
with over shower. Hot water to bathroom and kitchen is supplied from
a gas heater situated outside the villa and all towels and linen are
provided.

Both villas are located in a sub-tropical garden with guests
able to walk through the garden to the cliff edge guests sun bathing
terrace the waves immediately below. Gardeners will be interested in
the variety of exotic plants thriving in the kind south coast
climate and there are several gardens open to the public.
A private car park serving the guests and the
owners adjacent property provides off road parking.
Calhetas' beach, new marina, hotel, shops and
restaurants are a short walk away and given the bus service it is
quite possible to have a walking holiday without hiring a car,
though a 3 day minimum hire would allow guests to explore further
afield.
