Terms & Conditions

1. To make a reservation the client should check the booking details and pay the initial non-refundable deposit of £100 per rental week, additional details are provided on the full booking form when availability is confirmed.
2. A refundable security/damage deposit of £100 for the whole hire period is required in case of damage to the property or its contents.
3. The balance of the hire together with the security deposit of £100 is payable not less than 8 weeks before the start of the hire period. The owners can sometimes accommodate late bookings in which case the full amount should be paid a.s.a.p.
4. The client is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy covering personal belongings.
5. Whilst the owners make every effort to be flexible with flight times, as a general rule the rental period shall commence at 3pm on the day of arrival and finish at 10am on the day of departure.
6. The client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the property and to leave it in a reasonable condition at the end of the rental period.The owners reserve the right to make a retention from the security deposit to cover any additional cleaning costs if the client leaves the property in an unacceptable condition.
7. The owners shall not be liable to the client for any claim exceeding that which has been paid to the owner for the hire period.
8 Any dispute arising out of this contract to be settled in the Court of Funchal.

Directions from Funchal Airport.

Travel west on the motorway following signs to Funchal which is easily by-passed remaining on the motorway and following signs to Ribeira Brava.

Leave the motorway where it ends and follow signs to Ponta do Sol and Calheta (Vila Calheta )

There is a temporary diversion at the moment which means its probably easier in the first instance for the owners to meet you in the reception of the Calheta Beach Hotel.
