It would appear that Robert & Gill have adopted a similar policy here on Madeira, thus ensuring we had a delightful holiday experience. It really does feel like we are staying with friends, nothing is too much trouble and the villa is everything we could have hoped for.

The icing on the cake - we've seen dolphins and whales - dolphins leaping out of the sea and whales 'spouting' - a lot of those can be seen with the naked eye , so keep looking.

Thank you Gill & Rob for going that extra distance to make us both welcome and comfortable in Casa Palmeira.
Our favourite place to eat had to be right here on the balcony with a good bottle of Portuguese wine. The food eaten was not as important as the view enjoyed as the sun faded at the end of a well spent day.

We have travelled to many places but have never experienced such a warm and helpful welcome. Many good places to eat but the balcony of Palmeira has the best view - the sunset is fabulous and after a few bottles of wine who cares what you are eating.
